This was a very shit ending.
Forget that he had always wanted to be a Hero, forget that he always wanted to surpass All Might, hell forget that he was given his dream and that we have clear and powerful examples of people who are basically Quirkless and how well they can fight and tell me that he ‘Always wanted to be a teacher’ and that he would’ve been one if he still had his Quirk. I don’t believe, for a second, that the Deku we had grown to know would’ve wanted to sit on the sidelines and would’ve become a gadgeteering hero instead of basically abandoning his dream for a decade because apparently his superior physical training couldn’t put him in the same ball park as Aizawa, Night Eye, Knuckle Duster, or any other number of non-combat related Quirk Users who can still hold their own in melee. This is still an insulting end that gives the same message as before: Know your place and stay within your means. If you don’t have the connections or are literally GIVEN your power by some outside force (One for All or his damn suit) then you will never amount to anything. This is one of the worst endings and you can tell he’s trying to salvage anything he can by throwing bait to the fans and praying that one confirmed ship is enough to soothe the many, many, many horrible decisions he made at the end.
